Meet the Doctor, Author, & Photographer

I've always had the desire to help others, and while observing various medical professionals, I found podiatry to be the most rewarding and gratifying. Patients tend to leave the podiatry office feeling at least a little better than when they came in.

A few years back, a friend told me I should write a book of the crazy childhood I had. He said, "You know, Teresa, with as much adversity as you've been through, you're kind of like a wildflower; resilient, strong, and beautiful. It was then that I decided to write my memoir, titled, "Wildflower, a Tale of Transcendence".

One of my biggest passions in life is world travel, and there's nothing I enjoy more than capturing some of the beautiful faces I see on camera. That's how my love for portrait photography began. From Nepal to China and Southeast Asia, to Ecuador, Central America, Europe and Mexico, my camera has always been with me.

What Patients Are Saying

Such a great experience. Wonderful bedside manner. Dr Van Woy helped me with my pain by using meditation and visualization. Something no one ever offered me before.
